This is not really a mode, but a folder packed with shortcuts to almost every setting and administrative function in Windows 7. This also works
with Windows Vista and Server 2008.
The best part is that it’s pretty simple to do. I created a new folder on my d:\ drive and renamed it to
“AdminMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}“. You dont have to call it AdminMode – it can be called anything you want. (Referred to as
“God Mode” in the image)
Easy as that and now I have access to many functions otherwise hidden or stored in “out-of-the-way” locations. Makes
administering a PC that much easier.
Word of warning: Do not create this folder on you desktop. Explorer will crash. Best to do it on your partitioned
storage drive (other than the OS drive)
