Backup Exec – Cannot run utilities (Inventory & Eject)

When you try run the utility tasks manually, they fail. You may get a similar error:
Schedule an eject, the job starts running (or initialising). A few minutes later the Job Status changes from “Running” to “Communication Stalled”. Then after 15 minutes the job fails. The same happens when trying to run an inventory.
