Rachel Beck is the owner and founder of Vigor Vitamins, a vitamins and supplements brand, which creates simple, honest and eco-conscious products, primarily for women over 40, but beneficial to many more. The Challenge

The challenge was helping Rachel adopt the right IT systems and tools as her business began to grow. Rachel approached us at Comprendo as she was preparing to take on another member of staff. Growing the company from just Rachel felt like a big step and one she really wanted to get right, so she knew she needed support.

Rachel had completely outgrown the systems she’d originally set up. As a solo entrepreneur, she was using a personal Microsoft licence, which made file sharing difficult. Rachel’s email was bundled with her website hosting, and she’d started paying for additional licences. She was also becoming increasingly concerned about security, backups, and protecting customer data.

Rachel wanted to ensure her systems were properly structured, scalable and cost-effective before bringing more staff on board. She needed an IT strategy – secure and efficient file sharing, licence consolidation, a new email address, and guidance on which systems to use for both business and personal files.
